What is Corrugated Steel Water Tank for Fish Farming?
Corrugated steel water tanks are increasingly adopted in aquaculture due to their high strength, corrosion resistance, and easy customization. These tanks are made from galvanized or coated corrugated steel panels, assembled on-site with bolted connections, and lined with food-grade PVC or EPDM liners to ensure a safe and hygienic habitat for fish.
They are suitable for a wide range of aquaculture applications such as tilapia, catfish, koi, and shrimp farming. Thanks to their modular design, these tanks can be quickly expanded or relocated, making them ideal for both small-scale fish farms and large commercial operations. Additionally, they are compatible with solar pumping and filtration systems, which makes them efficient and sustainable in rural or off-grid areas.


Fish Farming Tank Constructed with Corrugated Steel Panels and PVC/EPDM Liner
Our fish farming tanks are engineered for durability and corrosion resistance, combining a robust corrugated steel panel structure with a waterproof inner liner made of either PVC or EPDM rubber, both of which are safe for aquaculture applications.
The corrugated steel panels are available in two material options:
Zinc-Aluminum-Magnesium alloy-coated steel (Zn-Al-Mg) for superior corrosion resistance, especially in coastal or high-humidity environments.
Hot-dip galvanized steel panels with a coating weight of 275g/m² (Z275), ensuring strong rust protection under normal aquaculture conditions.
To further enhance structural integrity and prevent rust at connection points, we use Grade 8.8 anti-corrosion bolts and nuts, which provide high tensile strength and long-lasting performance even in wet and corrosive environments.
This design ensures a reliable, modular fish farming solution that supports both long-term use and easy on-site assembly. The dual protection from the steel coating and the liner guarantees water safety and tank longevity.

Offers superior corrosion resistance, especially in coastal and high-humidity environments. The Zn-Al-Mg alloy coating provides long-term durability, self-healing protection at cut edges, and reduced maintenance. Ideal for fish farming tanks requiring extended service life and exposure to harsh conditions.

Coated with 275g/m² zinc for reliable rust protection, this hot-dip galvanized panel offers strong structural integrity and affordability. It’s a widely used and cost-effective solution for water tanks in standard environments, with good resistance to weathering and ease of fabrication on site.

Function of the Fish Toilet (Bottom Drain) in a Corrugated Steel Fish Farming Tank
Waste Removal:
The main function is to remove solid fish waste, uneaten feed, and sludge that naturally accumulate at the bottom of the tank.
This helps prevent ammonia build-up and maintains good water quality.
Water Circulation:
It encourages continuous water flow and helps to pull settled particles toward the outlet.Often paired with aeration or water circulation systems to create a central vortex for better waste collection.
Drainage & Cleaning:
During tank cleaning or water changing, this outlet acts as a main drain, allowing for quick and complete drainage of dirty water from the bottom.
Healthier Fish Farming Environment:
Reduces harmful bacteria growth and promotes fish health by keeping the tank base clean and oxygen levels stable.
Installation Note:
Flanged outlet fitting like the one shown (with liner sealing),
Internal mesh or filter cap to prevent fish from escaping,
External piping to direct waste to a settling tank or filter system.
